Bettas can EXTREMELY stressed in water that is below 75 degrees. 3)Should swim around, don't expect your betta to swim 24-7, he needs to sleep to. 4)You should really invest on getting at least a 3, 4, or 5 gallon bowl or tank. Small spaces will stress him, how would you like to live in such a tiny space? 5)Once a week, although your water may look clean, it can have pollutants not visible to the naked eye, but by the betta himself. 6)Bloodworm is a great food for him, but you should also have a tiny container of freeze dried brine shrimp. They come in cubes that you break apart into miniscule peices and feed them. It is VERY nutritious. It is my pleasure to help you and your betta.
