I keep reading stories of women who have reoccurring UTI. I am currently dealing with this problem. I was wondering if :
#1: Probiotics will help because I just ordered some
#2: If drinking alkaline water (Kangen water) will help my PH levels which will help this problem?
Note: I am not sexually active so it’s nothing along those lines as I’ve stated in my previous question.
If so, is it better to drink alkaline water instead?
Does anyone sell Alkaline Water? I had someone delivering but they stopped.
i hear that eating a more alkaline (rather than acidic diet) will help flush out toxins and shrink fat cells, since fat cells get bigger by engulfing acidic toxins to maintain homeostasis (or something like that basically…so u store fat).
an alkaline diet is basically eating all raw veggies and some fruit, but i want to continue to enjoy cooked foods and simply eat more raw foods. if i drink a lot of alkaline water, will that still flush the acidity from my body? also, how much should i drink to maintain a more alkaline body to lose weight? thx
only answers from ppl who know about the alkaline diet please. no spam (ie. acai or other diet ads). thx
I have extremely hard alkaline water. What fish would do best in my tank, and what are the size requirements? Also, is there any way I can soften the water short of installing a water softener system?
If we drink a glass of water with lemon added, although the lemon is acid, health people say it makes our bodies (at a cellular level), more alkaline by leaving an alkaline ‘ash’ – so then, what does alkaline water do to us? I see lots of companies selling drops that turn your drinking water to p.H. 9 – but surely if the acidic lemon has an alkaline effect, does the alkaline water have an acid effect on our bodies?
I’ve been drinking alkaline water for the most part at a pH level of 9-11 for two years now. My diet is not that bad, although I have not done any hard core cleansing along the way. The changes I’ve seen over two years are: skin thinning/drying/wrinkling, fatigue, joint pain, and even got diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I am not directly attributing these symptoms to the intake of the water, but these symptoms began occuring after I started drinking alkaline water. Also, I had symptoms of skin eruptions, missed periods, hair loss prior to taking the water, and they have not disappeared (as widely claimed).
Does alkalinity interfere with digestion and should you drink pH enhanced water only certain times of the day (ie. when not eating/digesting time). I didn’t mention before, but I had digestive issues before drinking the water and still no change.
The blood does not necessarily correct its pH balance. Thus illness occurs. So considering that our bodies expend more energy on balancing the pH level constantly, wouldn’t it be beneficial to assist your body in acheiving the correct level (and preventing that extra exertion and loss of nutrients/enzymes).
Most importantly, every water has a pH level, so what constitutes a correct pH?
Also, people in Korea and Japan have been drinking this water and their skin is beautiful (reflective of their internal healthy state).
To reply to Slick 50’s comment on eating more veggies, that is eating more alkaline. Your intake is still alkaline and if you think that’s beneficial, then why wouldn’t alkaline water? By the way, I went strictly vegetarian and felt really weak and people started calling me frail. So I started eating some meat again and felt better too, although I don’t like it and would rather not. I also feel guilty eating meat b/c I know it’s really acidic and puts too much pressure on the digestive system (impaired one like mine especially–thanks to stress).
I am drinking alkaline water and I have noticed that I am now getting a slight discharge does the water do something to the vagina?
I am drinking alkaline water and really liking it. I had a bit of a headache for the first week and was told that is because the water is acting as a detox. I am into my fourth week and am drinking 3 liters of water a day. I got some Hunzana ph drops and put in a few drops in every glass I drink. I got a ph tester from Wal-Mart and it shows that the ph is about 9.0. Am I drinking the right amount of water? or should I drink more?
