I have well water and want to use a filter system to attach to my faucet. Does any one know which one might be better? Thanks
I just bought a large filtration system that will be used for two connected homes w/ two fridges w/ ice makers. The system is able to route water to the setup i need, two faucet dispensers and the two ice makers. will pvc (3/8") vynyl tubing be ok to route the filtered water? i already have the "ice maker" lines installed on the fridges but ill be using about 75 ft of tubing to route the lines. local home depot only has pvc and guy there said it would be ok, but i need a second opinion, tnx.
The one i’m currently using is chrome (sold in Lowes stores). My wife and I decided to replace our sink and faucet, we chose the Moen nickel-played faucet not thinking about the water filtration system we currently have.

The kind that attaches to your sink faucet or the container kind where you pour water in it and leave it in your fridge? The Britta type filters that are sold in almost every store.
Im more of looking for which one lasts longer and which one you like better from experience.
I am looking for a water filter to put on my sink faucet. Does anyone know what filter is the best for removing chemicals, especially chlorine and flouride?
where does the tap water in your house coming from
and how does this thing get started from the source, filtration and into your faucet?
I live in north central TN. My water is very hard and has significant buildup on faucets and the like. I travel alot and notice my skin clears up and hair cleans better when I am at other locations (different water).
I would like a WHOLE HOUSE solution. Water filtration (not sink/faucet/shower filters) and softeners. I want the best quality products for the best results and the least amount of space taken up in my garage and of course the lowest price. An ALL-IN-ONE (system that provides filteration and softening, would be ideal). Please respond with appliance Make/Model and "Where to Buy".
I have a refrigerator that only has an inline filter instead of the additional (and much desired) second filter in the fridge. We have used the sink faucet one for awhile but it’s so expensive, has to be changed a lot, and is always in the way when I’m doing dishes. Would you recommend getting an undersink filtration system or buying something like Culligan delivered already filtered water?
The timing of the fruit flies coincides with the arrival of fruit flies. PUR’s Flavor Options has a raspberry flavored liquid stored in the system that attaches to your faucet. You press on a button to have flavored juice come out, then add water. I’ve already tried clear jars using rotting bananas as bait. The jars were secured tightly with plastic wrap and had holes using sharp pencil tip. I had NO LUCK with that method. They hang around the sink drain and fly around the kitchen. Driving me crazy! Any other methods someone can suggest would be greatly appreciated. Also, if anyone else has this PUR Flavor Options, have you had any fruit fly problems?
i’m looking for a good water filtration system that produces good tasting healthy water.
It can be faucet, pitcher,or under the sink,i don’t care (but tell me)
I don’t want to be changing filters like every month so something that will last me a long time.
If you can provide me a link!
