We have installed a Reverse Osmosis sytem in our kitchen sink. The old faucet that came with the Reverse Osmosis system broke this morning so we got a new one. When we attached the blue, black and red tubes to the new faucet, the blue tube started leaking water. Can anyone tell me WHY this is happening, and HOW I can fix it?

I watched a film yesterday on History Channel where they showed factories now harvesting Carbon Dioxide with filters. One company even uses algae, who eat carbon, in long tubes with water in it. The outcome is a sludge that can be used in all kinds of fuels that are beneficial to humankind. It seems strange that our government which is supposed to be run by "we the people’ which means "us" the citizens, does not come up with a filter to put on cars to catch the carbon. Just last week there was a cyclone in Indonesia killing many people. Of course global warming has something to do with it. I learned that the "greenhouse effect" is something good. In the greenhouse effect the carbon dioxide is necessary in the atmosphere because it makes the warm air stay on earth instead of floating into space. Without carbon dioxide the earth would be too cold to live on at all times. The problem is that the earth is putting out too much carbon dioxide due to too many cars with no filters on exhaust.
I feel that all factories should be required to have filters on them and all cars also. Why isn’t this done? Why do we have smart people in universities who can’t come up with a filter? Is the New Orleans tragedy not bad enough to act now? Everybody should contact the EPA, the congressman, anyone they can think of if they care about the environment!!

I just got a new RO filter, 3 stage filtration. There are two tubes where water comes out of one is faster than the other. I don’t know which one is the pure water and which one is the waste water. (ie: with an RO filter do you get more waste water or more pure water?)
Its an aquapro brand. How can i tell for sure, coz i collected and tasted both the water. The Slower one wasn’t the "water taste" i’m used to, while the faster one tasted better than tape water.
